Státní doktorská zkouška

Studium se řádně ukončuje státní doktorskou zkouškou a obhajobou disertační práce, čímž je prokazována schopnost a připravenost k samostatné činnosti v oblasti výzkumu.

Státní doktorská zkouška probíhá ústní formou před odbornou komisí. Průběh státní doktorské zkoušky má charakter vědecké rozpravy; v rozpravě jde nejen o rozhovor o samostatné studijní aktivitě doktorandů, ale o zjištění celkové orientace ve specializaci, resp. připravenost k samostatné vědecké činnosti ve vlastní specializaci, na kterou je orientováno doktorské studium každého studujícího. Zkouška se dělí na dvě části.

V první části probíhá odborná diskuse nad prostudovanou literaturou. Oborová rada oboru Informační věda pravidelně aktualizuje seznam odborné literatury pro SDZK, z něhož si student nastuduje šest předem určených cizojazyčných titulů a podle své specializace si zvolí dva další (seznam titulů se nekryje s dílčí zkouškou z Informační vědy). Další částí zkoušky je diskuse o široce pojatém odborném okruhu souvisejícím s tématem disertační práce.
