The programme of the Prague Summer Seminar changes every year. Fortunatelly there is plenty to choose from in the Czech Republic.

Explore Czech libraries
As we mentioned earlier, we will show you centuries of history using architecture of the visited libraries and theirs depositories. We will also try to show you the most recent libraries built in the Czech Republic (e.g. National Library of Technology, Hradec Králové City Library), so you can learn about the recent times – democracy.
You will see even more of the history, when we will visit several monasteries (Zlatá Koruna Monastery, Kromeriz Archiepiscopal Chateau Library), Kinski family library in the Nostitz Palace and Karolinum, the original part of Charles University, the oldest Czech university (est. 1348).
Enjoy lectures in Prague
You can look foward to seeing the Institute of Information Science and Librarianship (IISL/ÚISK), including several lectures and a sightseeing tour of Prague. You will still have some spare time for your own trips and there will also be some less demandig common programme.
